Colby seniors studying studio art have spent four years working toward capstone projects in printmaking, photography, painting, and sculpture. This exhibition offers participating students the opportunity to exhibit their work and participate in the museum’s exhibition process from start to finish.
Seniors have worked with studio art professors in their respective disciplines and members of the museum staff to realize this collaborative project that celebrates the culmination of their studio art studies at Colby. This year’s contributing seniors are Emma Baker, Morgan Cheney, Lily Craig, Maeve DiSandro, Mina Ekstrom, Isabella Farren, Marthe Godwilling Unkap, Viva Goetze, Annika Hogan, Max Jacobs, Raghav Kadambi, Samah Mohamedzein, Ava Stotz, Vivian Sullivan, Amani Tran, Ari Trueba, Jess Xing, and Ric Yamamoto.
An exhibition catalogue containing images, artists’ statements, and analyses of works in the show written by students in AR356 Writing Art Criticism will accompany the exhibition.
