New Member Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Maine Art Museum Trail. Prior to filling out the below form (which will be received by the Trail’s administrative team), please review and consider the below basic requirements for membership.
Member museums must have a permanent address within the State of Maine (but they are not required to be open to the public year-round).
We ask that all member museums have, as a primary part of their museum mission, a goal to preserve and promote visual arts for the benefit of the public. This generally requires the organization to have a permanent collection of artworks as part of their organization’s assets, but please let us know if that is not the case and we’re happy to talk.
Membership in the Trail carries annual dues (currently ranging from $250 to $1000, depending on organization budgets). This is to fund promotional, administrative, and special projects as chosen by the members.
The Trail meets quarterly (usually over Zoom), and we ask that a member from each member museum attend the meetings as best they can.
